Eagle Guard Core Cell Company (EGCCC) was founded by Wilmington professionals Ryan Legg, Matt Propst, and Mike Moran after successfully operating their own captive and recognizing the need to make alternative risk financing more accessible. In partnership with USI broker Jarrett Shearin and his team, they built EGCCC to simplify captive participation through trusted relationships and a streamlined, cost-efficient structure.

As a segregated cell captive, EGCCC allows profitable businesses to self-finance risk while remaining legally and financially separate from other participants. Supported by Live Oak Bank and Rockefeller Capital Management, EGCCC combines disciplined governance, financial strength, and local leadership to deliver a smarter approach to insurance.
